Eid Mubarak cards for family and friends

On Eid morning, greetings go out to dozens of people at once, mostly on WhatsApp. An animated Eid card stands out from the forwarded images: it opens with lanterns, a crescent moon and twinkling stars, with your message and the name of the person you are greeting, and a gentle celebration chime rather than borrowed religious music.

The wording suits both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, and you can change it. Write in Urdu or Arabic if you like — the text lays out right-to-left on its own — and set the heading to Eid Mubarak in Urdu, Arabic or Uzbek. There are six designs, two free.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for Eid al-Adha too?

Yes. The default message is a general Eid Mubarak; edit it to mention either Eid.

Can I write the greeting in Urdu?

Yes. Urdu, Arabic and Persian text lays out right-to-left automatically, and the card's heading can be set to Urdu.
